An office, a warehouse, a retail space, or a restaurant has the same supply and return ducts, the same coil and blower, and the same dust and debris settling inside them as a house does — often more of it, because the system runs longer hours and more people move through the space. What changes is access and timing rather than the trade: ceilings are higher, runs are longer, and the room is in use during the hours a house sits empty.

Shared laundry rooms are their own job. In a condo or apartment building, the common laundry room puts several machines on one duct system, and they run all day rather than a few times a week. Lint builds there at a pace no household run approaches, and because every machine pushes into the same duct, one loaded branch quietly makes every machine in the room slower. We clean the branches behind the machines and the common run they all exhaust into. A duct like that is building equipment rather than anybody's personal appliance, so the booking comes from management or the association rather than from whoever is standing in front of the machine.

We also do several units in a single visit. When a building or an association books its units together, we work through them one after another in one session instead of scheduling a separate trip for each — usually the only practical way to get a whole floor or a whole court done. Most of this work cannot happen in the middle of a working day, so we schedule it for the evening and start once the space has emptied out, which is what the building usually needs.
