Cancellation & Refund Policy

Floriduct (a registered DBA of SYZ Solutions LLC) strives to provide reliable, timely, and professional air duct cleaning and HVAC-related services. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the strict terms for cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, and refunds for all appointments booked with Floriduct (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By booking a service with us, you explicitly agree to the following terms.

1. Appointment Cancellations

Free Cancellation (24+ Hours Notice)You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no cost provided you notify us at least 24 hours before the start of your scheduled service window.

Same-Day Cancellation FeeCancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment window will be subject to a non-negotiable $49 cancellation fee.

No-Show or Inaccessible PropertyIf our technician arrives at the scheduled property and:

  • No one is home or available to grant access
  • Access to the property or HVAC system is obstructed or denied
  • The appointment cannot proceed for reasons outside our control

A $49 dispatch/trip fee will be automatically charged to cover time, travel, and lost appointment availability.

2. Rescheduling

You may reschedule an appointment without penalty if done 24 hours prior to the appointment. Rescheduling an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time is treated as a same-day cancellation and will incur the $49 fee.

3. Deposits

If a deposit is required to secure your service block:

  • Deposits are fully refundable ONLY when cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable for any cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment.

4. Refund Policy for Completed Services (All Sales Final)

Air duct cleaning and HVAC maintenance are labor-intensive, time-based services. For this reason, all sales are final, and absolutely no cash or credit refunds will be provided once labor has been performed.

Right to Cure (Satisfaction Guarantee):If you believe the service was not performed to industry standards, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of the completion of the job. Our sole liability and your exclusive remedy is a return visit to re-clean or address the specific areas in question at no additional charge. We do not issue refunds for disputes over service quality.

Refunds will only be issued under the following administrative circumstances:

  • You were charged in error or a duplicate payment was processed.
  • A service was fully canceled by us, or canceled by you with proper 24-hour notice prior to the start of work.

5. Minimum Service Charges

All dispatched jobs are subject to a minimum service charge, regardless of the ultimate scope of work. If a technician arrives and you decline the agreed-upon service, the $49 dispatch fee remains due immediately.

6. Weather, Safety, or Equipment Issues

Floriduct reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at our sole discretion due to:

  • Unsafe weather conditions
  • Hazards or technician safety concerns at the property
  • Mechanical or equipment failure
  • Pre-existing damage to your HVAC system that prevents safe cleaning

In the event we must cancel for these reasons, no cancellation fees will be charged to the customer.

7. How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must contact us directly. Leaving a voicemail or sending an email outside of standard business hours does not constitute proper notice if it is within the 24-hour window.
