The three counties share the thing that matters most for ductwork: air conditioning that almost never rests. Closer to the water, salt air adds corrosion on AC coils to the same list.
What changes across the area is the building. A glass tower in Brickell, an Art Deco condo on a barrier island, a 1950s ranch house on a large Davie lot and a 55-plus community in Boynton Beach do not present the same job, and they rarely need the same work. The tower is often carrying construction and traffic dust in a system nobody has opened yet; the older house usually has a system that has run for decades and has never been professionally cleaned.

Fort Lauderdale runs from waterfront single-family homes to downtown high-rise condos; Hollywood has older bungalow neighborhoods near the beach alongside a lot of condos; Pompano Beach carries a large condo share with seasonal owners; Davie is the outlier, with larger lots and equestrian properties bringing outdoor sand and pollen indoors; Plantation does the same through mature landscaping; and Dania Beach takes salt, humidity and airport traffic together.

West Palm Beach pairs historic residential streets with a growing downtown of condos and apartments; Boca Raton is gated and country-club neighborhoods with heavy, well-kept landscaping; Delray Beach runs from historic homes near Atlantic Avenue to coastal condos; Boynton Beach has a large number of active-adult communities, where shared walls and long dryer-vent runs make airflow a fire-safety question and not only a performance one; and Jupiter is newer coastal development that still collects construction dust.
